A ship was docked at the end of a hangar in the port. A dockworker, a stuntman at heart with a few beers under his belt, bet he could jump with his old motorcycle off the roof of the hangar, over the docked ship and land in the river without touching the ship. His fellow longshoremen started betting on this feat, which they believed was unrealistic.
The aspiring stuntman went to the roof of the hangar with his motorcycle, took a run-up, went over the ship and landed directly in the river, without touching the boat, in front of the spectators’ astonished eyes.
He returned to shore and collected the money from the wagers. Rumour has it that he bought himself a brand new motorcycle with the winnings.
Don’t try this dangerous feat at home!
